Picking an engine for how you actually drive

The Silverado 1500 is sold with four powertrains and most buyers overbuy. A quick way to think about it:

2.7L TurboMax — 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft. If the truck commutes to Georgetown or Round Rock five days a week and tows a small trailer occasionally, this is more truck than most people expect and the cheapest to run.
5.3L EcoTec3 V8 — the default answer. Handles a bass boat, a car hauler or a loaded bed without drama.
6.2L V8 — 420 horsepower, mostly found in LTZ and High Country. Buy it if you want it, not because you need it.
3.0L Duramax turbo-diesel — the towing and mileage answer. Properly equipped, the Silverado 1500 is rated up to 13,300 pounds of trailering.

Georgetown is three different truck markets in one ZIP code. Sun City buyers want a comfortable half-ton for a travel trailer and a lot of highway miles. Wolf Ranch and the newer neighborhoods east of I-35 want a crew cab that does school runs during the week and pulls a boat to Granger or Georgetown Lake on the weekend. Take SH 130 south from Georgetown and exit at US 79. Head east roughly two miles — we are on the north side of the highway in Hutto, sharing a campus with Covert Ford Hutto. Coming from the east side of Georgetown or from Weir, FM 1660 south connects straight down to 79 and skips the toll road entirely.

Yes. We keep the ZR2 in real depth - currently 31 units - plus a small number of Hennessey Goliath ZR2 builds. Very few Chevrolet dealers in Central Texas carry either in quantity.

Can I trade in and finance on a Sunday?

Yes. Sales runs Sunday 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, including finance and appraisals. Texas law requires dealerships to close one weekend day and we close Saturday instead, so Sunday is a full business day here.
